• Short attention spans: I move quickly to capture the magic in between.

• Make it about them too: Giving them little “jobs” (kiss the belly, hold mom’s hand, tickle dad) makes them feel important.

• Bring comfort items: Snacks, toys, or even their favorite stuffed animal can make a huge difference.

The Beauty of Real Moments

Some of the sweetest images happen when toddlers are simply themselves—pulling on mom’s dress, reaching for dad, or planting a spontaneous kiss on mom’s belly. These unscripted moments are the ones that will tug at your heart the most. This particular session was photographed in one of my favorite fields in Marietta, GA. The wide open space gave the toddler room to run and play, while the natural beauty of the field added warmth and depth to the images. I love using this location because it balances freedom for little ones with a timeless backdrop for parents.
