This session was taken at Vaughters Farm, nestled within Panola Mountain State Park just outside Atlanta. With its wide open fields, golden light, and gorgeous rustic charm, it is honestly one of my favorite spots to photograph expecting families. It feels timeless, warm, and completely magical during golden hour.

Including Your Kids Makes It Even More Special

I know what you might be thinking. My toddler will never cooperate for photos. But here is the thing—they do not have to.

Some of the most meaningful maternity images I have ever captured happened when a three-year-old was just doing their thing. Resting their head on mom’s belly. Looking up at her with that wide-eyed wonder only little kids have.

My sessions are play-based and child-led, which means we follow the energy of your family rather than forcing it into a mold. When kids feel relaxed, real moments happen naturally—and those are the ones you will hang on your wall.

When Should You Book?

I always recommend scheduling your session between 28 and 34 weeks. This sweet spot gives you a beautifully round bump while still feeling comfortable enough to move and play with your little ones.
